Biography
Divi (born Divya Vadthya) is an Indian actress and model who works predominantly in Telugu cinema and digital streaming platforms. Born on March 15, 1996, in Hyderabad, Telangana, she completed her schooling at Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad. She went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering before completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Hyderabad University. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a model, participating in various fashion assignments before transitioning into acting.
She made her feature film debut with a minor appearance in *Kala Varam Aaye* (2017) and gained initial recognition portraying the character Pooja in Vamshi Paidipally's blockbuster action drama *Maharshi* (2019) alongside Mahesh Babu. However, she achieved immense public prominence and mainstream television fame after participating as a contestant in the popular reality show *Bigg Boss Telugu 4* (2020), where her screen presence and straightforward persona earned her a significant following.
Following her television success, Divi transitioned into prominent roles across films and digital platforms. She made her debut as a leading lady in the thriller anthology *Cab Stories* (2021), which premiered on Spark OTT, and subsequently starred as Renuka in Mohan Raja's political action blockbuster *GodFather* (2022) alongside Chiranjeevi. Continuing to expand her filmography, she starred as the female lead opposite Bharat Raj in Naveen Gandhi's romance drama *Lambasingi* (2024) and appeared in the social thriller *Simbaa* (2024).
She further gained pan-Indian visibility by featuring in Sukumar's action epic *Pushpa 2: The Rule* (2024) alongside Allu Arjun, and appeared in the romantic horror *Love Me - If You Dare* (2024). Her upcoming slate of projects extends to high-profile commercial entertainers, including Bobby Kolli's action drama *Daaku Maharaaj* (2025) starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Gopichand Malineni's Hindi action film *Jaat* (2025) alongside Sunny Deol.
